Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana- Urban 2.0
The ‘’Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana- Urban’’ is a transformative initiative designed by the Central Government of India in 2016 aiming at providing an access to the urban residents to call a place to home by offering financial assistance for the construction of pucca houses in urban areas. As of now, more than 93.19 Lakh houses have already been constructed and delivered to beneficiaries. Under this housing scheme, the government approved a total of 2,34,864 new houses in nine States. Among the houses approved today under PMAY-U 2.0, more than 1.25 lakh houses have been sanctioned for the women alone, including single women and widows, ensuring empowerment of women. Meanwhile, 44 houses have been allotted to Transgenders. Eligibility Criteria

Credit Linked Subsidy Scheme (CLSS)
The Credit Linked Subsidy Scheme (CLSS) is an element of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY), that targets EWS, LIG and MIG segments of society.
