Eligibility Criteria

  • The applicant should be a minimum of 18 years of age at the time of applying.
  • No income limit is fixed.
  • Applicant or family must not own any other plot or house in the same city.
  • Not more than one property should be owned in the whole state.
  • Property must not be beyond limits under the Urban Land Ceiling and Regulation Act-1976.
  • This includes property given by the Housing Board.
  • If earlier registration was done and allotment was obtained, then the new registration will be cancelled.

For the application process, applicants need to follow these below mentioned steps:

  • Step 1: A registration fee of Rs. 1,000 with 18% GST, making the total Rs. 1,180 is required to be paid through an online method before starting the application process.
  • Step 2: When the process of online registration is opened, the applicant will first go to the UPAVP Website and on the homepage, click on the “Online Registration For Plots/House/Flats” option to proceed further.

  • Step 4: All the important details of that scheme need to be read carefully by the applicant, and then click on the “Apply Online” option to move ahead.
  • Step 5: On the new page, the applicant has to upload or fill in their basic information carefully, like name, father’s name, date of birth, mobile number, email, PAN number, and complete address in the given form.
  • Step 6: Once all the information is uploaded, click on the “Submit” button, and after confirming, the applicant will be given their registration details with a User ID, password, and the payment instructions.
  • Step 7: On the same page, the link “Submit” should again be clicked so that the e-Receipt of Step 1 can be printed and kept safely for future use.
  • Step 8: A passport-size photo with self-signature has to be uploaded to the application, and in case of joint application (husband-wife), a joint photograph is also needed.
  • Step 9: In the Gender column, ‘m is to be filled for male, ‘f’ for female, and ‘HW’ for joint application of husband-wife.
  • Step 10: For choosing the reservation category, the “Reservation” rules written in the booklet should be read, and the correct code must be filled; otherwise, the applicant will be counted in the unreserved category.

Here how the lottery draw is usually done for allotment:

  • Step 1: First, all the applications are collected by the authority and are checked properly so that only the eligible ones are kept for the process.
  • Step 2: When it is seen that the number of applicants is more than the number of plots, then the lottery system is planned to be conducted by the officials.
  • Step 3: The draw of numbers is carried out in the presence of officers and sometimes also in front of the applicants so that fairness is shown in the process.
  • Step 4: After the draw, allotment of plots is done according to the numbers that are taken out and as per the reservation category rules.
  • Step 5: Once allotment is done, the details are given to the applicant and the registration money is either adjusted or refunded according to the given rules.
