The Prime Minister introduced the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-U (PMAY-U) Scheme on June 25, 2015, to offer all-weather pucca dwellings to all eligible urban families nationwide. Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Vadodara 2025 has also been launched in Vadodara by the VMC known as Vadodara Municipal Corporation. The VMC plans to construct 134 houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana for the people who are unable to buy their own house. About Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana
The Hon’ble Prime Minister introduced the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Scheme on June 25, 2015, with the goal of “Housing for All” by providing all-weather pucca dwellings to all eligible urban families nationwide. Urban growth has been accompanied by an increasing need for housing over time. Because of the fast rate of urbanization and the development of new cities and towns, the demand for housing in urban areas is still growing. The country-wide “affordable housing” demands of various income groups, such as EWS, LIG, and MIG segments, varied greatly from one another. Supporting each of these groups in achieving their goals of home ownership to live honorably is essential.

Objective of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Vadodara
The primary objective of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Vadodara is to provide affordable housing options to the people in Vadodara. The urban poor people who do not have enough money to buy a house of their own in which they can live a quality life. With the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, the VMC intends to build 134 homes for the homeless people in Vadodara. Each home will include two rooms, a kitchen, and a carpeted space of 35 square feet. With the help of this scheme the people of Vadodara who cannot buy a house of their own can now afford a good house and live peacefully.

Eligibility Criteria
- Under PMAY-U 2.0, families in the EWS, LIG, and MIG categories who reside in cities and do not own a pucca house nationwide are qualified to buy or build a home.
- Beneficiaries who have received housing under any of the Central Government’s, State/UT Government’s, or Local Self Government’s housing schemes in the past 20 years, whether in urban or rural regions, are ineligible to receive benefits under PMAY-U 2.0.
- Income: Your annual household income must fall within the designated categories:
- Economically Weaker Section (EWS): Up to Rs. 3 lakh
- Low Income Group (LIG): Rs. 3 lakh to Rs. 6 lakh
- Middle Income Group (MIG I): Rs. 6 lakh to Rs. 12 lakh
- Middle Income Group (MIG II): Rs. 12 lakh to Rs. 18 lakh (Not eligible for subsidy under CLSS)
- You must be a citizen of India

- Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, the VMC plans to construct 74 shops and 134 flats in Vadodara for the citizens.

Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Vadodara Apply Online
- Step 1: go to the official website and log in to the PMAY website.
- Step 2: Select “Citizen Assessment” and click on “For Slum Dwellers” or “Benefits under other 3 components” depending on which option applies.
- Step 3: Enter your Aadhaar card information
- Step 4: This will take you to the application page, where you must correctly complete all the fields.
- Step 5: Among other things, you must fill out your name, phone number, bank account information, income information, and other personal facts.
- Step 6: Upon completion, select the ‘Save’ option and input the Captcha code.
- Step 7: Click the ‘Save’ button after that. At this point, the program is finished, and a printout can be taken.
