Under this scheme the government provides unit financial assistance of Rs 2 lakh for the construction of pucca in the state. By presenting this scheme, the government aims to improve the socio-economic status of vulnerable tribal groups by providing them with a means of survival in the form of pucca houses for their survival. Under this scheme, the government targets a total of 2.95 crore homeless beneficiaries under PMAY-G for PVTG households with a target of 4.90 lakh houses by 2026. Through the help of this PM-JANMAN government aims to uplift marginalized communities by helping them in coming out from mud, kuccha, grass, reeds, bamboo house and secure a permanent house for their survival.
Antyodaya Gruha Yojana
Antyodaya Gruha Yojana is a state-sponsored housing scheme designed by Government of Odisha for the construction of pucca houses for citizens who fall below poverty line and due to this they aren’t able to construct their own house in the state. Under this scheme the government provides financial assistance and other necessary incentives that are important for the construction of pucca houses. Under this scheme, the government provides financial assistance of Rs. 1,20,000/- to citizens living in non- IAP Districts and Rs. 1,30,000/- to residents in IAP Districts and this amount will be revised timely by the state government. Under this amount will be transferred into a total of four installments through DBT. Nirman Shramik Pucca Ghar Yojana is a landmark scheme designed by LABOUR & ESI DEPARTMENT, Government of Odisha for those building and other construction workers in rural areas who are registered under the Odisha Building & Other Construction Workers’ Welfare Board (OB&OCWWB). Under this (NSPGY) government offers financial support for the construction of pucca houses to those who play a pivotal role in the construction of individual and community assets and do not have their own pucca. In this scheme, the government mainly focuses on those workers who are registered under the Delhi Building and Other Construction Worker Welfare Board (DBOCWWB).
